About Me

amyrungpaka
My name is Dr Amy Rungpaka Hackley. I am an academic and a self-taught cook :) When I was young I remember that in my parents’ and our relatives' houses we never had less than three Asian dishes on our dining table at meal times. I grew up being used to a variety of food and a mixture of taste, as most Thai and Asian people are. Variety and a mixture of flavours are the secrets of Thai and Asian food. I lived in Australia for a time and have now lived and worked in the UK for several years but I still hold these values in cooking and eating. Tweet me @RungpakaAmy
